| Re: TV Coverage........Again Boring but very rich playing golf for a living, despite lack of TV coverage. My heart bleeds ! Anyway, Vijay gets well looked after on UK soil. Maybe he should he should join the Euro tour if he needs more TV coverage. Cheers. Lee. |

| Re: TV Coverage........Again Mr Change has hit the nail on the head, I agree with Mizunoman there is far to much coverage of Tiger, playing **** golf too.............I want to watch the competition involving everyone in the top ten............. I made comments before in another thread about the very poor coverage of US tour golf, it is all putting and filmed from poor angles that don't let the public admire the swings. European tour on the other hand has shots of tee shots from behind the players and from everywhere on the course. US Tour.............Putt advert putt advert putt advert tee shot advert putt etc etc. Boring Ian.

| Re: TV Coverage........Again i agree way too much putting, way to much tiger,( but maybe all the other players drove the greens so all they have to do is drive and putt lol) i want to see there aproach shots not just tigers, and i dont need to see there tap in putts, sure there 30 footers are great to watch. not taking it away from tiger but if he aint knockin the pin down why do we have to see it. what about a couple of weeks ago when (i forgot who didnt see him) had 9 putts on the last 9 holes i would have loved to see that. butt i can also see there point of view its mostly live edited on site theres a time frame and constraint, and there only so many cameras out there, there going to go with who they know brings viewers, they got alot of money riding on viewers. |

| Re: TV Coverage........Again Was watching the same thing. At one stage Tiger hit an approach shot to within 6feet, commentator was getting very excited by it, next comment he made was refering to VJay's ball which was within 3feet, just said we didn't see him taking his shot but it must have been pretty good to be inside Tiger's! Only saving grace for their coverage was at least they were showing the players who were in contention at that stage, and that didn't include Vijay at that time. |

| Re: TV Coverage........Again Apparently, the ratings just aren't there if the don't cover Tiger. In fact if Tiger isn't in contention nobody watches. It's the same thing with Michelle Wie. Where's the beef? She doesn't win but the media are all over the place showing us every move. And keeps pushing aside deserving players with sponsor exemptions. It's the same old Golf Industrial/Media complex making us love the best athlete because that's the athlete we see the most. In the recent past prior to Tiger being back on top last year, the media just didn't know what to do. Would Tiger get his swing back etc etc. In the mean time they had to settle for "sloppy seconds" with V.J. (Who in my opinion is the classiest pro on tour). |

| Re: TV Coverage........Again well today i watched the tiger woods boxset and i agree james, and on there it explains that when tiger woods is in a telivised game, the ratings sky, when he misses a cut or doesnt play the ratings are not there at all. Quote:

| Re: TV Coverage........Again Dubai classic showed at lot of Tiger, but also showed his competition choking when it mattered. Green couldn't manage to punch his ball out of the woods & Els managed to punch his ball into the water. In the end, Tiger wins again. |
