Vijay asks to test Mickelson's driver

For some reason mickleson does not come off ass a genuine guy too me. Would not suprise me if he made that roomer up himself... Im pretty sure Vijay could get any club he wanted to try without asking Phil.

I think you misunderstood - he is getting Mickelson's equipment tested to see if it conforms the the USGA rules.

I belive that it would drop the handicap of most players having equiptment made just for them. With the right equipment a guy who slices it all the time can have his slice cut back, to somewhat more controllable. I know that with myself getting new equipment made a big improvement on my game.

Don't get me wrong, some people won't improve with equipment, And also the biggest improvements will come with learning how to hit the ball.

I know if I was to play with blades, I would drop back, because I hit just off the centre of the club closer to the toe every shot, When i tried a set of blades i tended to clunk the ball and had a pretty bad hook. But if someone was to build me a set of blades where the sweet spot was just off centre i am sure i would be even better.
