| Morgan Pressel's interview Did anyone see Morgan's interview this weekend, she was crying, because she played bad. Similiar to what Tom Hanks said in "A Leaque of their Own" There is no crying in Golf. Now she is only 17, so I will cut her some slack, and I felt bad for her, but some one needs to tell her, There is no crying in golf. There is profanity, there is club slinging, there are high fives, low fives, heavy gambling, minor gambling, heavy drinking, fits of anger, looks of confusion, blank stares, broken clubs, bags floating in lakes, watching people duck when you yell four, but there is NO CRYING. | Re: Morgan Pressel's interview Pressel and Wie.......hmmmmm.... Who cares? Two more pampered Prima Donna's we could do without being subjected to. From the looks of it the US High School/Collegiate system is concentrating on churning out precocious young ladies to take the world by storm and secure many Solheim Cup victories since it obvious the guys cant do it anymore (c'mon Europe!!!)I digress, she is indeed very young and can be excused some emotional outbursts, but its all toys out the pram stuff. I dont wish ill on anyone but some of these people need a serious wake up call in their lives to remind them that it is only a game and they have plenty money anyway so a few hundred thou here or there wont make a big dent in their lifestyle. I think Paula Creamer has it about right, despite her age she is rarely anything other than chirpily ebullient when she wins or mildly disappointed when she dont. When Pressel and Wie have achieved what she has already done in a sickeningly short time, then they can start acting like they own the place. D.

| Re: Morgan Pressel's interview Although it is nice to see she is playing with emotion, there is no need to have a breakdown. She needs some media coaching to help keep these outbusts to a minimum. I agree with Daryl, I could go the rest of my llife and not hear about either Pressel or Wie and be a very happy man. |

| Re: Morgan Pressel's interview I felt bad for her, but how bad can you feel for someone who plays golf for a living... finishes in the top half! and Still says she played poorly... she should have been Happy that she was so close and still has things to work on!! I call it a blessing. You dont learn &%$# for Winning a tourny. But can learn lots from loosing. g |
