Luke Donald

As an Englishman it was great to see Luke win the Honda but hasnt he just got the nicest, simplest swing. If ever there was a swing I would like to copy it's his. Simple, repeatable, very few moving parts and stands up under pressure

Re: Luke Donald

It really was - i was starting to worry that luke was a bit of a choker - but that shot at the last soon squashed that thought! It was also nice to see a "non bomber" winning. Lets hope he has a major in him!

Re: Luke Donald

In the grand scheme of things he's very average so far when you consider his big game performances, hopefully these will come, if he wants to win majors he can only play the quiet and studious card for so long, he needs to get a bit nasty out there....

The main thing is he will be around for ever, what an action, bombproof, no knee ops or back aches for him I imagine.

Re: Luke Donald

I am always happy to see a win by someone other than one of the big bombers on the tour. I guess I can identify with guys like David Toms and Jeff Maggert, certainly Luke Donald, who use something other than driver-wedge to get around the course.

Golf should be more about the second shot, in my opinion.
