Weir withdraws, will attempt PGA Championship

AKRON, Ohio -- Mike Weir withdrew from the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational on Friday due to a muscle spasm in his neck. Weir had played 11 holes of his second round at Firestone Country Club.
