Maybe nothing to do with this post but I thought it was a good time for me to express my thoughts. With a One Plane Swing to me it feels like ( and what FEELING) I can throw my right hand and shoulders as hard as I want from the top with the right elbow back, that so called OTT MOVE, if anyone has a problem with OTT,they should jump on this band wagon. Totally takes all the thinking out of the swing. I've done the Two Plane Swing forever trying to still understand......(To many thoughts) - Hip bump, drop the club into the slot ,hold the shoulders back,ETC....(GEEEZ) Taking me way to long to understand that I can actually use my right shoulder and arm and hand in the swing, compared to pulling with the left side.

Anyway, played last night with this swing after hitting balls on the range for 2 days and shot 1 over, I had some funny ones because I was dropping the right shoulder ( and that is pulling) no good in One Plane Swing.

I'm done, just had to vent .
Amen to this. I am going through the same thing now having committed to the one plane swing about a month ago. I now shift my weight more naturally because I am using my right side much more. The left side braces for the throw from the right side. Go Low's posts suddenly turned on the light for me in that respect. I was a big time left side puller and it made getting a proper weight shift or bracing the left side consistently for me a maddening chore.

Back to the thread, one plane or two plane doesn't really matter much on pitches, chips or putts. You teach those shots the same to everyone.
