| Hi Everyone, I've posted this because I believe it may help those just starting out. Find an 18 hole par 3 golf course. You will find most of them have an on-course pro and are all very approachable and eager to help. You will find that it helps your short game immensely, some are quite challenging and you meet other addicted golfers. I spent my first 6 months playing one of these courses and had a wonderful time. | Re: Beginners Tip There are plenty of days when I'd love to have a pitch and putt close by - basically a place to work on your approach shots and then getting up and down when you miss. |

| Re: Beginners Tip The big plus also is that it would only take a couple of hours and you can squeeze that in easily, versus a 5 hour round on a full course. If you can swing a PW well, you can extend that to the long clubs. Ted |
