When I get withing 10 yards of the green my chipping falls apart. I sometimes even have the tendency to hit the ball directly to the right, in other words it is no closer to the green then it was when i took the first shot. I do alright with the 60 yard shots. I address the shot slightly open with the ball off the back heel, most of the weight on the front foot. Any help is appreciated

here is how I chip, so you can experiment

set up ball in middle of stance, ALL THE BACKSWING IS, is me cuppin my right wrist, then I just turn through with my body.

with the ball so far back and the weight so far forward, I would bet you blade it sometimes dont you?

bottom of swing arc is below the left arm pit unless you flip at it.
