Hi All,

I'm having trouble with hitting the ball on the toe with my short irons ( not shanking!! ). I'm not sure what to do as I don't know whether I'm coming too much from the inside or what??? Ball position is pretty much where its always been, in the middle of my stance. Can anyone suggest what I can do fix this problem - unfortunately I don't have access to a video camera.

The ball position maybe the same back-to-front but make sure that it's not too far away from you. Also, check that you are not falling away when you swing.

A simple drill is to place a ball inside of the ball you're going to hit ball by about 2 ball diameters. Then hit the outer ball without striking the inner one.
