| Hi I played with an average 13 handicapper last week who really impressed me with his ability to get the ball to pull up within 1-2 skips with backspin on a chip shot. He did this to pins about 10-15 yards away and closer. I would like this skill but have tried it with a pitching wedge and ProV1 ball with no success......the ball keeps too low and roll too far after an impact on the 2-3 o'clock postion on the back of the ball. How is it done? |

| Soft hands. You can't force spin, you need to let the hands relax and allow them to be slightly in front of the ball at impact. |
