All that means is that there's less illegible posts and threads. I'd rather have some clarity in less frequent subjects than the alternative.

Plus, it's a busy time of year for all so I'm not surprised it's quiet. And the weather is pants until atleast March now.

Again, the SITE is alive and well, the INSTRUCTION FORUM (1 of 30, albeit the instruction section accounts for 20% of the site) may be particularily quiet since the departure of a known active poster.

However, I would hardly say the site is moribund. Less active, certainly. But I must say I fully understand every post I read, now.

IMO, there is a difference between a post of "Let me tell you something" and "let me help you answer your question". 90% of "let me tell you something" seem to have gone now. Correlation?

I never had a problem with answering related questions the best I knew how, and to me, that is what this site is about ... and was that way for years.

Asking yourself a question and answer it is a bit like masturb.....
