Hi guys, Just wondering if you think it would be a good idea to add an Articles feature to the site. This feature would allow members to write their own articles in a particular section. For example, if you want to write an article on a particular golf drill that you recommend. Just an idea and wanted some feedback on what you think?

Greg I think this is a great idea. As Ian said it can sometimes be hard to find specific drills, even with the search function. I don't think it would stop people talking on the forums, I think it would make them talk more! I'm sure there are plenty of opinions out there, which is a good thing.

Nice idea, I would be willing to write an article or two. Would you be able to upload photos with the article. How about a section for articles on the previous weeks golf tournament - like a news column. Or even better a section to write an article on your previous round like a sort of golf diary? What do you guys think?

I think it would be a great idea to have articles on drills written by members. people could then comment on the drills and give advice to improve drills. A golfing diary would be good as well! why not have it when you click on someones name and have a personal drills section and a golf diary? And then people could write their own articles on golfing news, tournaments, golf courses in an articles section? What about a player stats section as well, in someones own profile section along with the diary & drills? Members could fill in their rounds stats such as G.I.R, fairways hit, putts, sand saves, up & downs, & strokes? the figures could then be added up and averaged and give yearly members figures. People could then recommend drills and advice to improve a golfers game looking at what is letting them down! Just a thought Last edited by cct; 11-24-2004 at 09:43 AM.
