Profile information

Can anyone tell me how the 'stars' on someones profile work? I know its a members contribution rating but how is it decided????

Also how is someones reputation decided and referals work?

The stars represent you contribution to the site.

When you answer someones problem or someone answers yours then you type your thought into the "was I Helpfull" section on the top right of this box.

When you fill the "Was I Helpfull" section in the green box in the right side of every box gives you the contributers ability to answer your questions.
i.e 5/10 average
7/10 good
10/10 unbeatable

Do you have to put a message into the box or can you just put 'I approve'?

Also what happens if i click 'I dissprove' or report bad post???

How is someones reputation calculated??

Hi cct,

The stars are calculated on the amount of posts, not sure about quality.

you can leave a message or just click " I approve or disaprove" disaprove and my profile will drop approve and it will grow.

The idea is look at my little green box and this should give you an idea on my ability to give valid answers that will genuinly help you in your game.

It's up to you what you put about me in your reply, it goes to the administrator not me.

So the site administrators calculate someones reputation by the number of approves and disproves.

And the stars are there to show someones contribution to GTO.

Its a great idea, especially the reputation part so members can see what advice is good to listen to and what advice to be careful about.
