Another small one Greg (bet you wish you'd never re-started the blogs ) - "Views" isn't registering; I've looked at a few and the counter hasn't changed for them.

Open up two browser windows. one for the old journal and the other with the new blog post you want to copy to.

In the old journal left mouse click holding button down -> drag to select the text that you wish to copy -> press ctrl and "c"

switch to the other browser where you want to paste the text -> left click where you want the text to go -> then press ctrl and "v" to paste the text

Oh! I thought there may be a way of selecting the complete entry and transferring with date etc included.

Hi Greg,

Found you can select the icon at the top of each entry that says "Blog this item" and it posts it to your Blog. Cool!

Excellent... this will help all you who need to move your journals from the forum to the new Blog/Journal system.

I know bulldog has a lot on the old system...

I have attached a pic to show you all which icon allows you to Blog (i.e. move to your blog) a forum post.

Bah! I'd already copied and pasted them! Got told of by the missus for spending too long on the computer too! Ah well - good find!

I can't read other peoples' comments on other peoples' blogs - is this a known issue or have I not read something (wouldn't be the first time!)?

Also, I thought I posted a comment on Brian's journal last night but this morning it wasn't there, mind you it was late and I may have been er tired at the time.

They may have their blog viewing permission set to private... see first post in this thread to uncheck this... I will send out an email to notify the guys

I tried to post a reply to someones Blog but it didn't work, no warning message.

BDBL had this with mine, I appear to have the permissions set to public and have not set a Buddies list?

Greg - feel free to post a comment on my blog as a trial and I'll delete it if it works.

Still having trouble with comments - can't post them and can't read them on other peoples
