beginners Hi,I am new to this game. I have played 2 times with my friends clubs. And now I am taking lessons to learn Golf. But I am confused which clubs to buy to have a complete set. There several different brands from low to high price. Please can anyone suggest me on what clubs would be good for me as a beginner. And where I should buy it from, wheater to buy new or old clubs? Thanks,

Re: beginners I believe - others may correct me - that the make and model of the clubs, and whether they're new or old, is largely irrelevent. The larger the cavity back, and the more weight in the sole of the club, the more forgiving they're going to be, but what's more important is that the clubs you get fit you. If you're of average size, your local pro can fit them to you for minimal cost

Re: beginners Thanks for your reply. I am thinking to buy from dicks sporting goods eaither Golden Bear G Power Package Set, bag and a putter. or Adams Tight Lies Set and 3 and 5 hybrids, unless I can get a good deal on used clubs from one place.
