Hi Golfers,

I am new to golf and on my 3rd lesson. I need to buy a set of clubs suitable for a beginner that will allow me to progress but will not cost a fortune. As you'd expect when asking around at the various golf shops here in Singapore you get a lot of different opinions depending on what brands they sell. However, Maruman Bestop seems to be the favourite in terms of being a complete set for a reasonable price (S$ 659). Does anyone have any experience of using/owning these clubs? Also, Wilson 1200 was another option (S$599), any thoughts on these clubs?

Hi, I chanced on this tread and wonder is anyone has an opinion on Maruman Bestop? Seems like good value to me. Wonder if they are worth it.

I am a beginner and require cavity irons with tons of forgiveness. =)
