| MOI Matching: Is it worth it? Hi, I just finished my first custom fitting and have the option to have irons MOI matched. I am worndering if this is worth doing. I am a 12-16 handicap. I have read many articles, but interested in any real world experiences that others may have had. Thanks. |

| Re: MOI Matching: Is it worth it? Pick up your current 5 iron. Close your eyes and swing it. Keep your eyes closed and have a friend swap out your 5 for any other club. Swing it - can you tell the difference? MOI matching makes it so that the answer trends towards 'no' from a feel standpoint. IMO, MOI matching is the evolution of SW matching - and a very worthwhile step if you're having custom clubs made. |
