Hello to the golfers of the world!!

Hi guy's just thought i'd say G'day as i've just joined. I"ve probably only played a handful of times and i'm addicted!!! In my youth (like i'm old now) i used to play quite alot, but never was too concerned about my game. Now i have very few things to do and i'm ultra competitive so i look at anything to improve my game.
It is the most frustraing thing!!! Can't stop my slice off the tee which looks great for about 100 mt but then the ball takes a 90 degree turn (literally!!!).
I guess i've got no directional control with any shot, so my score card generally shows very little difference from when i first started. So hopefully all the guru's on this site have some fantastic tips to rocket me to greg norman status!!!
Well i'll settle for hitting a few straight ones!!
