ball position

hi all
first time on here
has anybody tried this drill
pick any club and place a small coin where you think ball should be
and have a swing
if you hit it clean thats the ball position for that club
try all clubs moveing coin each time if you miss move it untill
you do hit it clean and thats the ball position for that club
it worked for me

Sounds like an interesting drill. I suggest using a small wooden chip or a plastic ball marker to save some scratches on the club faces.

I usually give similar advice, but even more simple. Take a few swings that take a slight divot. The ball position should be just in front of where the divot starts.
