| Greetings from Mansfield UK Hey folks, I'm a beginner and hoping this site will help me out with my game. I'm liking the video lessons they are cool. I'm 28 from Manfield, Notts and sorta have only been playing a fortnight. I originally took up golf 4 years ago and played for about 2-3 months over that summer. I had 4 lessons and then quit after the 4th lesson as the next day I literally couldn't hit the ball after having been quite good for a beginner before that 4th lesson. I was mostly playing a par 3 course (Ramsdale Park if anybody knows it) and shot under 70 (par 54) 6 times in a row and even had a hole in one. The guy giving me lessons then tried to go too fast and altered my whole arm structure and it messed up my natural swing that I was only just getting used to. My best friend has taken up golf so I've just got my clubs out again a couple of weeks ago and after 4 games on different courses have been pretty erratic. One minute I feel like my body remembers what to do and the next I'm all over the place ![]() I really enjoy the challenge of golf and would like to see how good I can get. If there's anybody else here from my area I'd love to know what some good courses are for beginners. |
