Hi from Staffordshire... Hi, Having truely hated golf all my life and wondered why anyone (including husband) would want to play, I now find myself watching all the golf there is on tv and wanting to learn to play. My husband has played golf since the age of 11 and is now a teaching professional. He gave me my first lesson last week and I loved it. I apparently have a natural swing (to my amazement) and within 15 mins had me hitting the ball consistantly and I was shocked. I have a set of Harold Bird clubs which were my sis in laws (she played with them half a dozen times apparently) and still hates the game. I have 3 children, the youngest is 8 and he's loving golf, yet has only wanted to learn (was footie mad and played for local team) the last 4 months. I have taken up golf late in life I suppose, but like they say, it's never too late to learn anything. Glad to see there is a lounge for us ladies
