Hi from Ashford, Kent in the UK

Just found this superb forum, this is my first post. My wife and I took up the game in May of this year and are loving it. We are just getting good enough to be frustrated when things don't go as planned.

We play as often as we can - winter has not stopped us yet. Our local club is a municipal called Great Chart, which has a 9 hole course and practice facility. We also play at Stonelees(near Sandwich in Kent) and have just played Lydd - our first links experience.

We are both very inconsistent on the course and are very much beginners.

Look forward to hearing from other golfers on the site.
