Evening lads & Lasses here comes another Newby

Just saying hello after finally getting round to registering,
Ive been viewing the forums and picking up ideas and tips for a while and must thank the forumites for all the useful and informative advice given.
Ive been playing now for about 20 months and need to progress from the fair weather golfer to a serious, mean business golfer.
I have been lucky enough to win a comp first prize. The prize was a full set of customised Ping G5 clubs, white G5 tour bag and lots of other Ping goodies.
I was previously using a full set of `off the shelf` Hippo clubs + a couple of additions (driver, 3 wood, putter etc) which served their purpose but never really felt right.
I really enjoy the golf, the exercise and the crack with the fellow players but I have decided that in 2006 I am going to knuckle down and strive to achieve to a single figure handicap. (wife permitting)
