hello,GTO, golf bags and club dividers?

which type of bag is best ,stand, pullcart, or riding cart for over all use and what about the best kind of dividers for shaft protection. I,m new again to the game after a 10 year lay off on a flying gig, just switched from Ds9 Alien to Di5 Wilson Staff w/Hybrid 3i 4i, looking for best way to organize and protect clubs without looking like i bubble wrapped them, sometimes i walk and rash, sometimes i ride and smile.

Re: hello,GTO, golf bags and club dividers?

I use a Sun Mountain MPB, I got it (from the UK) for £129.99.

It has a 15 way full length divider, and a putter holder on the outside at the front of the bag.

It has a lot of storage space, easily enough for a waterproof jacket, couple of bottles of water, a small flask, things like your keys, money, golfballs and tees plus more!

The straps (if you're wanting to use them... they get in the way on a trolley, I just take mine off if it's going on one) are able to zip away the stand legs. The only problem is it is quite heavy, and if you're not used to it/weak it could be an issue.

Mines royal blue/black. Looks the business and does the job

Hope this helps

Well, if you're looking for protection, a 14 way divider is the way to go.

Proline has taken it one step further with their GripLok bags - not only does each club have its own home, but they lock in place once they're there - no more head chatter.

I just hope I never have one close enough to me to buy it!

I hate the chatter.... Hate it! It makes the baby Jesus cry

Re: hello,GTO, golf bags and club dividers?

The only knock against them is that they're kind of heavy (due to the heavy duty divider and gripLok).

But as a cart bag, they can't be beat.

The've got a new cart bag that has a spinning top - no more fighting the cart handle for the club at the bottom!
