Thought I'd pop in here and say hi! Hope to learn some good things here, I need some help. I'm really good at scoring twice over par. (My last round was a par 72, and I scored 153!

)

Well, that should change fast as I practice this summer and pick up golfing tips here.

This looks like a great place to hang out!

153 thats some score, but with a bit of practice your scores will start to drop. remember relax and enjoy the game dont try to kill the ball every time you hit it it doesn't work.

Thanks for the welcome! I'll remember to relax when I play, maybe that will improve my accuracy. A good 20 or 30 of those strokes were penalty strokes.

hi cosine,
just keep plugging away
ive only been playing just over 12 months and my early scores were in the 120's and without any coaching im managing to break 100 all time and sometimes 90! the advice gleaned from yhis site being a big factor.
