Just started golf lessons thru the local community college. Lessons started in Jan and we, the newbies, will start playing in April. Looking forward to playing. My son, who is in the Air Force, introduced me to the game when he was on leave last year. I promised him that I would learn to play and that I look forward to playing him on one of the Air Force's great Golf Courses. I live in Ridgecrest, CA. The only golf course is at The Naval Base at China Lake, CA. Not a bad course for the desert.

Welcome Bigdawg, we are sure you will enjoy this site. One benefit of your location in the dessert is that you will enjoy warm playing conditions throughout the year. Let us know how you are doing when you hit the course in April.
