| New guy, relearning the game Last year my wife said out of the blue, " why don't you go hit some golf balls?" It had been almost 15 years since I had played. So I've gone out and hit some buckets and played a few rounds. My main plague right now is a lack of consistency. I assume that it will gradually come back the more I play and practice. Someone said to me the other day, ' Just play 4-5 times a week.' That would be nice, but take a lot of time. Any other suggestions from you folks? |

| Re: New guy, relearning the game welcome hanc, 4 or 5 times a week is not realistic for most of us i make sure that any day im not at the range or playing a round i pick up a club for maybe 10-15 minutes getting the grip right and just swinging nice and easy in front of mirror to check posture and stance! ![]() |
