| Re: the release The release is the term given to the uncocking of your wrists during the downswing phase of the swing. It can happen anywhere from the first move down, to a point where the hands are inside the body, to not until after impact. Ideally, your release happens automatically as part of your swing, and happens when your hands are inside the lines of your body - this maximizes your swing speed. |
