I've golfed a few times a year for probably 20 years. I have more oportunities now and would like to work on my game.
My biggest problem is the harder I swing, the more I banana so I must be opening the club face.
On a shorter distance I try to use a longer iron and line the club up straight but the more I push a club for distance, the more I have to line up closed faced. of course this is like trying to line up the sun and the moon.

I dont know which way you bannana it left to right or visa-versa. But I would say don't swing so hard then, I have found the looser you swing your arms and hands, the farther the ball goes
