| Hi Folks! First post from me. You would think living in Scotland I would be a natural at this game. Not so, I'm afraid. I have played roughly half a dozen games a year for the past 10 years and I am still yet to break the magic 100. It is only recently thanks to this website and my own renewed desire to improve that I have started concentrating on the basics - grip, stance, posture, alignment. Toying with getting a lesson from the local pro also. One big problem I do have - and the clue is in the nickname- I do get overtense. If I can learn to relax a bit more I am sure the swing will start to look and feel a lot better. Anybody got any tips apart from downing a few whiskies before starting the round? |
