| Re: everything went well, but short game One approach that has helped me with this shot is to think about getting the arms and hands through first. Once the backswing is set, all I think about is bringing the arms and hands through while rotating the upper body with the club head lagging behind. It is as if my body is leading my arms while throwing my hands at the flag or landing spot. So many of these shot are killed when when you try and hit the ball with the clubhead, getting the clubhead ahead of the hands and chunking or hitting thin. Remember, the swing must be smooth and let the ball get in the way of the clubhead. Hope this helps |
