| Go Mavs, Just signed up on this site and I am hoping to get some good advice to improve my game. I cannot get rid of my slice off the tee with my driver!! Tried just about everything and I just tee off with my 3 wood to keep it in the fareway. Lose distance, but at least I'm not in the woods anymore. |

| Re: Hello from Texas Hey AB1955, I am just a struggler as well but one I have managed to do is eliminate my slice. I played 18 holes with this old bloke (may have been Yoda) who apparently used to be a pro. I used to be one of the take it away low and slow.... and the thing used to go all over the place. Yoda advised me after a couple of holes and much cursing from the trees to try and focus on taking it back to the inside a touch and keep my left arm pretty straight.... haven't sliced a ball since, now if can I just learn to chip and putt... cheers WT |
