Reverse Pivot

I have a terrible reverse pivot in my golf swing. I am a 24 handicap and have broken 90 only twice. I want to get better but this pivot thing robs me of making correct golf shots. What can I do to correct this so I don't look so ugly on the course. I look forward to your reply.
