Hi just starting this amazing game
hoped you guys could help me on a nagging issue

I hit the driver very well however when hitting an iron from the turf i end up 2 to 3 inches behind the ball on the downswing, and if i do make contact i rarely get any loft.

someone also told me i was scooping the ball, but trying to hit down on it made matters even worse.

try to come mor shallow on the down swing. when you come to steep you take a big divot, and sometimes duff it.
