Hello, first post after lurking for a year. I have a vexing problem of my left foot flaring out on my downswing/follow through, I suspect it's a balance problem, any thoughts, advice, or drills to staple it down, short of staples, would be appreciated. Don

You may be taking to much weight off your left side on your backswing, allowing your foot to come up so you flare it out.

I'd suggest concentrating on keeping at least 40% of your weight on your left side on the backswing, and really transitioning to 80% of the weight on your left side at impact.

I'm just throwing percentages out there, but your coming off your left side some time and I'd think it would be at the very top of your swing.
