Hello to all.

Started playing about 18 months ago. Slowly improving in terms of actuaL stroke production, but inconsistent. I feel as if I don't have a consistent wrist position at the top of the backswing and sometimes I tend to wrap club around my right shoulder rather than bringing it "up and back". When things go wrong, it tends to be a slice more often than not, and it feels as if i'm late on the shot and that my left arm is straight and "open" on impact. Also tend to think too much about stroke during actual play which could be a problem.

Would love to share views of other golfres and instructors regarding above - "damage limitation".

on your takeaway try to keep the clubface looking squarely at the ball for as long as possible.
take it back low and slow dont be in a hurry to pick the club up
