| keeping the chin out of the way Hi everybody, During my back swing and forward swing , my chinn gets in the way of my shoulders/chest. I try to keep it as high as I can at address. Will be grateful for any suggestions to get over this problem. Thanks, Arun |

Setup with your rear-end out more, your back straight and your tummy in. Flex the knees slightly and let your torso keep a firm base for the shoulders to rotate about the spine. You shouldn't have to worry about the chin anymore. |

| Re: keeping the chin out of the way As a guy with a short neck I don't think I could lift my chin high enough. lol. In all seriousness though, I'm not talking about turning the head at a 45 degree angle or anything that drastic. I get just a minor head turn caused by how much my shoulders actually turn during the backswing. Using my chin as a reference, I'm only talking about it moving a couple inches back during the backswing. With my shoulders turning almost 90 degrees during backswing, it is almost impossible to keep my head completely straight. |
