Good evening or is it Good morning...

Hello, my name is Joe or Joey, and I've been at this game now for about two weeks after not touching a club in probably 10 years. Lost pretty much everything i had at one time and now do not remember anything the coach told me. I do have a few friends who play and are pretty decent. I've been tagging along to the driving range to get some advice and hoping to maybe get good enough to see a course someday soon. I do have a dream of playing with my Grandfather-in-law someday as I know he is getting older. So we set our sights on a game to be announced once we get some much cooler weather here in Houston.(Kinda thought I might have a while but well the cool fronts came early this year) My delima is now that i can consistently hit the ball it either slices or pulls, but mainly slices. So that lead me here looking for some advice and maybe a couple of good tricks to figuring out my swing. Thanks for reading my babble.

Sincerely,

Joe A

Re: Good evening or is it Good morning...

wish i had that problem of to hot to play, im in wisconsin, getting colder now. slices or pulls you say well 2 things happening thenout to in swing path open club face, first work on the out to in swing, take a smaller cardboard box with you to the range, place it behind just out side the ball try hitting the ball with out hitting the box, you probebly getting to armsy, have to swing thru the ball not at it, then if your still slicing it then, it time to strngthen your grip.
