Re: bruin Launch angle, Spin rate and shape are things that come to mind. Equipment can help the first, changing some things in your swing will help the second and third.

Re: bruin thanks for the reply i have recently purchased a new set of irons, basically a clone set of x18,which i got on very well with on the range( 7iron ).since then i have worked on the sw,pw,9,8 &7 ,which i am reasonably happy with, still struggling a little with the 6,5,hybrid4,maybe its a mental thing? i am sure that as i progress through the irons my club head speed reduces ,ending with the driver that is way short of my playing partners, any help out there

Re: bruin Have you had your irons checked for loft and lie? You may have some seriously strong short irons. Clones are notorious for being way, way out of spec. (Their OEM counterparts are only notorious for being a little out of spec. )
