| Hi, Kev. I am also from England and only been playing golf a few months. Two things i would suggest, firstly leave your driver at home for now and practise with a mid iron. Secondly get some lessons from a pga pro, it will give you sound basics to practise on the range and save you time later on trying to correct your swing. good luck. |

| Re: Hello everyone from England Kevin, Welcome and good luck to you. Dont fall in to the trap that so many of us do, i.e. pounding balls and not knowing whats right or wrong. As others have said, start out right. Go and get lessons now and get an understanding of the basic requirments to play and more importantly enjoy this game |
