yes have been using ping for over 25 years. use to love there two colour golf balls too but sadly they dont make them now.

Hi to all GTO members.
I look forward to participating in the site in many ways. Hopefully to pick up some tips on how I can improve my game.

I am a late starter and have been playing for 3 years and working on reducing my handicap.

My current goal is to achieve an 18 HCP.
Failing that I hope to be able to go 18 hole round with a gross score less that my age, if I live that long!!!

I have been brought back into the game after a long lay off with a bad back and have been iven the all clear to play golf again.

With my handicap elapsed I am shortyly going to be getting it back so my aim is to be off 10 by the end of the year lower than that is a bonus.

I use to play off 4 but I was injured so its tough getting my original swing back but its getting there slowly but surely.

i was the same as you but i was playing of 6 and i damaged my spine and had to give up golf for 3 years then went back for 6 months but my back pain started and i gave it up for another 2 years, now back playing again and off 14 i dont think i ever get back below 10 again but i am happing i'm playing again and loving the game once more. i had to change my swing as my draw swing hurt my back and i changed back to a fade and that seems to work fine.
dont try and do to much to quick, start slow and work up and if you have back pain, then REST?

not played for a few weeks back pain again so doing a lot of reading and spending lot of time here, have been chipping and putting but that all so far hope it wont be long till i can get a round in.
