| New to the game Hello all! I am new to the game and figured that a forum such as this was a good way to pick up tips and advice. At this point I seam to struggle with my driver. About 1 out of 10 are clean striaght drives, but the others as you can probably tell by my user name.... slice. Can anyone tell me what the common problems are for new golfers that may cause this problem? Your advice would be greatly appreciated! ![]() |

if you can hit it reasonably straight i would suggest using that and getting the rest of your game up together first . the driver is the most unforgiving of the clubs and most high cappers suffer trying to smash the ball down the fairway and failing 9 times out of 10. |
